New Bayern Munich player Michael Olise has shared why he chose to move abroad instead of staying with Premier League teams.
On Sunday, Olise finished a £60 million transfer from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich.
Earlier, teams like Chelsea and Manchester United were interested in him.
Last summer, Chelsea thought they almost had Olise. But he decided to stay at Crystal Palace and signed a new contract with them.
Olise said, “The talks with FC Bayern went really well. I am very happy to be playing for such a big club now.” He has signed a five-year contract with Bayern.
He added, “It’s a big challenge, and that’s exactly what I wanted. I want to show everyone what I can do at this level. I also want to help our team win as many trophies as we can in the next few years.”
