Chelsea told everyone on Monday that they have a new player, Caleb Wiley from the United States.
Caleb is the fifth player Chelsea signed this summer. Last week, they got Renato Veiga too.
On their website, Chelsea said, “Chelsea is happy to tell you that United States player Caleb Wiley is now with us.”
“Welcome to Chelsea, Caleb!”
Right now, Caleb is in Paris with the US Men’s Soccer Team. They are getting ready for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Caleb used to play for Atlanta United in the MLS, and now he is a part of the Premier League with Chelsea. He is a left-back, which means he plays on the left side of the soccer field to help both defense and attack.
Caleb is 19 years old, and he signed a contract for six years with Chelsea. They can keep him for one more year if they want.
