Henry Abiodun has quit his job as the technical consultant for Sunshine Stars, according to DAILY POST.
Abiodun said he left because the club did not act in a professional way.
“I have resigned from my role as the technical consultant of Sunshine Stars FC,” Abiodun told reporters.
“It was a tough choice, but it’s hard to work when the environment isn’t professional.”
DAILY POST remembers that Abiodun was brought in to save Sunshine Stars from being demoted at the end of last season by Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, the Ondo State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development.
Last season, Sunshine Stars ended up in 10th place in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
