According to him, last night he received a warning call from an anonymous person, advising him to take cover.

Isaiah said he subsequently left his residence to stay with a friend, where he slept, only to wake up after 2:00 a.m. and discover around 19 missed calls on his phone.

He said that when he returned the calls, he was informed that armed men had invaded his complex and set the building on fire. “Yesterday I had a short youth awareness meeting at my compound in Aluu. The meeting was peaceful. The meeting started around 9 am and at 12 noon we finished. All the youth returned home. It was just a youth awareness meeting.

“After that meeting, late at night, around 12 in the morning, I received a call from an anonymous good Samaritan who advised me to take cover and be careful with my movements during the night. So I said there was no problem. Since it was a security issue, I had to leave my house to stay with my friend.

“While I was with my friend, I fell asleep. When I woke up, it was after two o’clock. When I checked my phone, I received around 19 missed calls. When I called back, I found out that there were armed men in my compound and they burned down my house. They set it on fire.

“This was the situation I encountered this morning. I came to monitor it and make sure the information was correct. Upon arriving here, I confirmed that my house had indeed been burned. My tenants’ apartments had been burned. My certificates and all my documents had been burned.

“My mother was beaten, my grandmother was beaten. Everyone in my compound was tortured.”.
