The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has promised that his party will highlight President Bola Tinubu and will also take over the state of Lagos in 2027.
The former Governor of the State of Osun made the promise on Saturday, in an event where the leader of the Labor Party (LP), Hon. Moshers Salvador, led the members of the group to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The event that was held in Lagos also marked the 25th anniversary of the Forum of Consciousness as a political group.
He had attended the national secretary of the African Democratic Party, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, leadership of the ADC in the state of Lagos, and Zonal Salas and Leaders of the Consciousness Forum of the 20 areas of the local government and 37 LCDA in the State.
Going to the new members, Aregbesola praised leadership, executives and members of the Forum of Consciousness while attacked the need to take care of the headquarters of power in Abuja and Lagos in the general elections of 2027.
He averaged that the ADC will produce the next president of the country while charging the new intakes not to give in his efforts to change Nigeria for the better.
He said: “I am happy to be part of this meeting. I am also happy to receive it in the ADC folds. We are the only one that can make control of wherever they are if the conscience forum, the people who are good with highly cultured leadership can organize this type of event to make a statement for the ADC and follow the line stated by the leader, surely, Alausa is a safe ticket for all the United States.
“With our resolution, it will not be difficult to take care of the power seat. It is a simple strategy that one obtains ten and each of the ten will also obtain ten. Its operation ten more than ten. Once we can do this, that is the end of it. We will surely meet in the town of Rock Aso and we will produce the next president of the country. Once again, I am happy to be here and we should not relax to our efforts to change Nigeria.
Speaking about the transfer to ADC, Salvador said that the problems facing the Labor Party have shown that it is not a part for the future.
He said: “Today, we are marking the 25th anniversary of the Forum of Consciousness and, at the same time, for a wise man or people of wisdom, we look back to what he has achieved and we hope what we are aiming to be. For anyone who wants something good of its members, it is best to join the coalition.
“This is not only the ADC. The ADC is the symbol of the coalition and that is why the Forum of Consciousness, being a political group with more than 400,000 members in Lagos will have to show our structure, including our officers of LGA and Ward, and so on.
