The member representing the federal constituency of Idanre / Ifedore, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has openly declared his support for the reelection of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Support for Akeredolu was openly declared by Adefisoye on Monday in Idanre where, however, he made it clear that he would only work for the re-election of Aketi and not for decantation to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Adefisoye added that he had consulted extensively before making the decision to work for the reelection of Governor Akeredolu. He further said that the decision to support Akeredolu was primarily based on the need to complete all ongoing projects in the Idanre / Ifedore federal electoral district and attract more projects to the electoral district.

“After the consultation, they vary widely with the leaders of the SDP and other important leaders inside and outside the state of Ondo, especially the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, I have decided to support APC. But I want to assure you that your decision was made primarily for the sake of continued development in the federal Idanre / Ifedore constituency. “

Adefisoye further asked the massive party supporters who attended the event to do whatever it takes to win their voting units for Aketi on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

“We must realize that politics has to do with interests and should not play with emotions. Now that their leader has declared his support for Akeredolu, we should agree to this decision and work for Akeredolu’s victory. This election will be operative to win your units.

“But I can assure everyone that Akeredolu will win on Saturday. I also want to use myself as a guarantee from Governor Akeredolu. I want to assure you that the governor will keep all his promises on development projects in Idanre and Ifedore. I should be blamed in the unlikely event that Governor Akeredolu does not keep his promises. “

In addition to addressing the crowd, Adefisoye assured that it will organize an empowerment program, the first of its kind, in December when 50 exotic cars and 100 motorcycles and other valuable empowerment items will be delivered to its constituents.

He also called on the people of Idanre to forgive and forget the APC for the event that had occurred in the recent past. He also assured that Akeredolu had ensured that all SDP candidates in local government elections would be accommodated.

“My greatest interest in politics is attracting development projects to our federal constituency and continually empowering voters. By the grace of God, we will have the first empowerment program of its kind in December, when 50 exotic cars, 100 motorcycles and other items such as grinders, freezers, hair dryers, among other valuable empowerment items, will be distributed, ”Adefisoye added.
