The family of the boss ọbafẹmi Awolọwọ has been condemned with the federal government of Nigeria and the family of the deceased General Muhammadu Buhari (RTD.), GCFR, on the disappearance of the former president of the former Nigeria.
Tribune online The reports that Buhari, who served as Nigeria military head of state in the 1980s and democratically elected the president from 2015 to 2023, died on Sunday, July 13 at a clinic in London.
Ambassador Dr. O. Awolọwọ Dosumu, in separate letters on Monday, on behalf of the family, said that Buhari's death brought a solemn moment not only for the family but for the entire nation.
“This is a solemn moment not only for his family, but for the entire nation. His presence in the Nigerian political landscape covered decades and left a lasting impression in the history of the nation,” the letter to Buhari's family went partly.
Continuing, Ambassador Awolowo Dosumu in the letter addressed to the Federal Government described the late Muhammadu Buhari as a personality whose leadership as head of military state and civil president marked significant moments in the history of Nigeria.
“The long and agitated career of General Buhari in the public service reflected a deep sense of duty and personal discipline. His leadership, both as a military head of state and later as democratically elected president, marked significant moments in the history of the nation. His legacy of service will continue to be part of our national narrative,” the letter meets partly.
Awolowo dosumu added praying for the peaceful rest of the soul and comfort of Buhari so that the family has the irreparable loss.
“We pray that the Almighty Consute them all, grant them the strength to support this irreparable loss and receive their soul in eternal peace.”
