Twenty-four hours before 2025 EID-El Adha Sallah, executive president of the Bauchi Local Governing Council in the state of Bauchi, Hon. Mahmoud Babamaaaji Abubakar, on Thursday distributed cows, rams and cash gifts to PDP leaders, deserving communities and groups as support.
While delivered animals and money to the beneficiaries, he emphasized that the generous gesture was made in appreciation for the valuable support he received since he was elected and jury as head of the Council.
He explained that the donation aimed to relieve economic difficulties and bring joy to the beneficiaries and their families during Eid Adha, which is a season of sacrifice and celebration.
However, the president declared that the beneficiaries were elected according to the necessary and immediate needs, not only in the affiliation of political parties, since he is the leader of all residents of the local government.
Mahmoud Babamaaaaji said that the initiative, which shows the compassion and commitment to give back to the community, would be continuous until the majority of residents in the area reach.
Some of the donation recipients expressed their gratitude for the president's benevolence, describing it as a reflective gesture.
They expressed optimism that donation would help them meet their basic and essential needs before and during the festive period.
The beneficiaries received several amounts of money from the president, with no one knowing what the other person received.
The beneficiaries included leaders and interested parties of the PDP in the area, youth groups, council workers and women's groups.
