Grant coverage

International travel costs Receipts must be submitted Economy class travel on an IATA-approved airline, with a maximum of one round-trip ticket per academic year.
living allowance flat rate 1150 euros / month for 12 months.
Indirect assignment fees flat rate 150 euros This amount is paid once per stay, upon arrival of the beneficiary.
Arrival allowance, tuition and return fees flat rate 700 euros This amount is paid once per stay, upon arrival of the beneficiary.
register fees At the current rate of DGD grants.
Insurance fee Paid directly from ARES.
Travel costs that are part of inter-university training Receipts must be submitted Reimbursement is made on the basis of real costs incurred, with receipts provided.

Eligibility criteria

  • Be a citizen of a developing country. If you do not know click here
  • Be under the age of 40 for certificate programmes, and under 45 for courses, at the time the training is scheduled to start.
  • You must have a relevant academic background to apply in a relevant field.
  • The duration is one academic year
  • Passive knowledge of English (reading) is required.
