Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has expressed the team’s strong determination to clinch the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations title. Musa emphasized the team’s goal during a press conference in Abidjan on Saturday, speaking of their relentless efforts to reach the competition’s final and their ambition to leave with the championship trophy.
Jose Peseiro’s side is set to face hosts Cote d’Ivoire for the second time in the competition on Sunday. The eagerly awaited tournament decider will take place at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, with the Super Eagles seeking to secure another victory against the Elephants.

Emphasizing the team’s determination, Musa stated, “It’s going to be a tough game but we want to win. We have worked so hard to get to this stage of the competition and can’t afford to go home without the trophy. We beat them earlier in the competition and want to repeat that again.”
