Coas Oluye urges commanders to have the highest level of professionalism

The head of the Army personnel (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufmi Oluyede, has commissioned the officers to command and their equivalents at the tactical level of the Nigerian army to defend the highest level of professionalism in their respective units and establish the bar for discipline, courage and value.

This was contained in a statement made available to the defense correspondents in Abuja on Thursday by the Interim Director of Public Relations of the Army, Lieutenant Colonel Anele.

According to the statement, the COA gave the position during the closing ceremony of the workshop of officers of Second Commander held in the cantonment of Maxwell Khobe, Rukuba, Jos, State of Plateau.

He explained that General Oluye said that the efficient discharge of responsibilities at his level was crucial to achieve the military final state in the objectives of the campaign in the various operating theaters.

Therefore, he encouraged officers to pay adequate attention to the welfare of their subordinates, emphasizing that a motivated force is essential for optimal performance.

The COA further emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the knowledge acquired during the workshop to improve leadership capabilities in their respective formations.

According to him, the value of such professional commitments lies in translating the theory into action through better operational planning, decisive leadership and a renewed commitment to the values ​​and spirit of the Nigerian army.
