Stress is a natural human reaction that happens to all. In fact, the body is designed to experience stress and react to it. Their answers help the body to adapt to new situations. An response to stress could help the body to work harder and stay awake for longer.

But stress becomes a problem when stressors continue without relief or relaxation periods. It continues for weeks or months and often affects people who work in certain professions, such as medical care providers, due to marriage problems, work problems or financial problems.

Ironically, worrying about the effects of stress can get worse. It can lead to health problems. The trick to keep it in balance is the consumption of Pepper Aligator.

Afframomum melegueta, commonly known as grains of paradise, crocodile pepper or melegueta pepper, is traditionally used in Western Africa as a spicy spice in the kitchen, as well as in traditional African medicine for the management of a wide range of conditions.

In the last three decades, the crocodile seed and its extracts have been investigated through in vitro studies, preclinical research and some clinical trials in humans to validate their benefit when treating stress.

In a pilot clinical trial, the researchers validated their benefit for the reduction of anxiety, the improvement of mood, stress mitigation and sleep improvement at doses that vary from 50 to 150 mg, without informed side effects, which demonstrates its suitability for daily use. I was in the pharmaceutical products (Basel).

Anxiety and stress are closely related psychological conditions that often coincide and influence each other. Chronic stress can lead to the development of anxiety disorders, so it significantly affects mood or sleep patterns.

In addition, chronic stress can affect sleep by causing difficulties to reconcile sleep, keep sleep or achieve restorative rest. In turn, bad rest or sleep deprivation produce day fatigue, irritability and cognitive impairment during the day, which can amplify the perception of stressors. Therefore, it is essential to interrupt this negative feedback cycle (stress-mal-sixture cycle) to restore general well-being.

However, according to researchers, crocodile seed can support positive mood and provide effective daily stress. It has also been shown to reduce tension, reduce the perception of anxiety and raise mood in just three days.

When it came to sleep benefits, crocodile seed demonstrated notable effects from day one, even at the dose of 50 mg.

For the study, the participants had between 40 and 50 took four formulations of extract grains for paradise daily and were randomly assigned to an increase group (0, 50, 100 and 150 milligrams) or enriching (150, 100, 50 and 0 milligrams).

Paradise extract grains were prepared in the form of a capsule, known as Vanizem® (VAN).

Each 3 -day intervention period separated for a 1 week washing period. The participants also completed a physical activity program that consisted of resistance and cardiovascular training.

The benefits generally increased as the dose increased. For example, anxiety scores decreased by 10 percent to the dose of 50 milligrams, 25 percent at the dose of 100 milligrams and 37 percent at the dose of 150 milligrams, compared to a placebo.

Using the Leeds Sleep Evaluation Questionnaire (LSEQ), participants reported that they fall asleep faster (51 percent), a better sleep quality (37 percent) and behavior improvements after vigil (7 percent), indicating that waking up feeling more rested and refreshment.

In general, after 3 days of supplementation, sleep quality classifications improved by more than 30 percent compared to placebo.

The total disturbance of the mood: an evaluation of the general state of the mood, improved at 16 percent at 50 mg, 54 percent at 100 mg and 77 percent with a dose of 150 mg in three days.

The study suggests that the main mechanism of action of the extract may imply the inhibition of FAAH, which is a key objective in the management of anxiety.

The effects on sleep quality and the beginning seem to result from the relief of daily stress, instead of direct modulation of gabaergic or serotonergic systems.

The participants took crocodile pepper in the morning and did not report that they do not sleep during the day, positioning it as a practical solution for those who wish to avoid the lethargy associated with other endocannabinoid action ingredients, such as CBD.

The researchers, therefore, said that the Pepper Crocodile can support people exposed to demanding lifestyles, including workers in high -pressure work, women who pass through perimenopause and other populations that face daily challenges that can affect their emotional state.

It also addresses the needs of women during perimenopause and menopause, such as stress relief, sleep quality, anxious feelings and mental well -being.

In 2021, a randomized and controlled pilot study with placebo investigated the effects of a botanical extract supplement containing Afframomum Melegueta on the quality of life of 57 women with menopausal symptoms.

Compared to placebo, supplementation was associated with significant improvements, particularly in the domain of menopause and health, which evaluates vasomotor symptoms, such as hot flashes, headaches and feelings of fatigue due to lack of sleep.

In contrast, other plants used in several traditional western medicine systems such as sleeping aids include Valeriana officinalis (Valerian), Passiflora edulis (Passionflower), Matricaria chamomilla (chamomile) and Melisa officinalis (lemon bullets).

In addition, the roots of Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha) are one of the best known and recognized Ayurvedic ingredients to control chronic stress, with significant improvements observed in the symptoms of stress, anxiety, insomnia or depression in human clinical trials.
