Must Read

The youth of the kingdom of Ogwashi Uku in the area of the state of the Southern Council of Aniocha of the State of the Delta have expressed their confidence in the capacity of the Governing Council of the Polytechnic of the State in the community to reposition the institution for excellence.

Young people under the auspices of the Association of Young Ogwashi-Uku, therefore, praised the efforts and breath of the Council to remain unchanged by the mischief of selfish detractors.

The general president of the association, Comrade Stanley Chinedu, in a statement on Monday, vehemently dissociated its members of a group to the worried young people of the Ogwashi-Uku kingdom, “led by a humble comrade eight and her wrong attempt to interfere in the affairs of the Polytechnic.

The general president described the interference in the affairs of the institution by the worried young people not only naughty but also a shame for the Peace-loving people of Ogwashi-Uku.

The young people worried in their request stated that, since the appointment of Mr. Adingupu as president of the Governing Council, both the Polytechnic and the surrounding Ogwashi-Uku community have experienced continuous instability and administrative instability.

They alleged that Adingupu has kidnapped the institution's operations, executing it as a personal company and leaving aside both management leaders and the community.

However, the OGWASHI UKU Youth Development Association in a statement said: “We are deeply alarmed by the unfounded statements made in a so -called” Save Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi UKU and the image of Ogwashi Uku Kingdom “, according to the reports, presented to its excellence, the governor of the state of Delta del Estado de Delta, Hour

“This ghost petition was invented and spread by individuals without legitimate affiliation to Ogwashi-Uku.

“To avoid doubts, comrade Humble Ochei is neither from Ogwashi-Uku nor Aniocha South and, therefore, lacks the moral or cultural mandate to speak in the name of our people.

“The youth of Ogwashi-Uku and the entire community; both at home and in the diaspora, they know these people for what they really are: chasing personal and corrupt agendas under the appearance of community interest.

“We remain completely committed to the rule of law and we will never support any attempt to derail genuine administrative reforms in the Polytechnic or any public institution within the State of Delta.

“It is not in our position to end up the internal operations of government institutions, especially when such operations do not represent a threat to our community.

However, given the suspicious time and the tone of the recent request, one cannot avoid questioning the motivation behind this.

Comrade Chiedu said of findings, the current Governing Council, led by Hon. (Pastor) Paul: Adingwupu, has begun a very necessary cleaning of the Polytechnic System that he explained, aimed to eradicate the entrenched corruption and inefficiency.

“What we are witnessing, therefore, is nothing more than corruption fighting.

For registration, Hon. (Pastor) Paul Adingwupu, president of the Governing Council, has strong ties with Ogwashi UKU. His maternal lineage is rooted here, he owns the property in the city and remains a respected figure in Aniocha South.

“In particular, it is recorded that Pastor Adingyupu played a fundamental role, working in synergy with Chief James Onanefe Iberi, then governor of the state of Delta, in the establishment of this same Polytechnic Delta State, Ogwashi-Uku in 2002.

“Therefore, there is no rational basis to accuse him of undermining the interests of the Ogwashi-Uku people.

“Such narration is misleading, malicious and must be ruled out by all well -intentioned citizens.

While they urge all the people and groups that seek to destabilize the progressive agenda of their excellence, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, to give immediately, Comrade Chinedu said that the time has come for all the hands to be on the roof in support of the transformation of educational institutions and the holistic development of the State.
