Describe from Verizon: How to solve the problem of SOS Solo mode on iPhones

Must Read

Verizon, the largest wireless carrier in the United States (USA), experienced service interruptions on Saturday, with many customers informing interruptions.

Downetector registered an increase in the reports of 1:43 PM EDT, while several users said their phones entered SOS mode.

Apple explains that “if you see or ‘you are only’ in the status bar, your device can still make emergency calls. If you do not see any service or search the status bar on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular), your device is not connected to a cellular network.”

To address the problem on iPhones, Apple recommends trying to reconnect on the network:

Go to configuration, activate plane mode for at least 15 seconds, turn off the plane mode

It is also suggested to restart the device. If the problem continues, users are recommended to communicate with their operator. Apple also recommends keeping the iPhone or iPad updated to the latest version.

Another possible solution is to verify if there is an operator configuration update:

Make sure the device is connected to Wi-Fi Go to configuration> General> About. If there is an available update, the option to update the operator configuration will appear to see the current operator configuration version, go to configuration> General> approaches and verify next to the operator
