The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, pointed out with the new tax and expenses bill of President Donald Trump, expressing a disappointment that it is executed against the efforts aimed at reducing the US budget deficit.

Speaking during a Sunday morning interview of CBS broadcast on Tuesday night, Musk declared:

“Then, I was disappointed to see the massive bill of expenses frankly, which increases the budget deficit not only the decrease, and undermines the work that the Dux team is doing.”

Referring to the legislation that Trump and the Republicans have called the “great and beautiful bill,” Musk questioned the compatibility of his scale and substance:

“I think an invoice can be large or can be beautiful. But I don't know if they can both,” he added.

Musk, the richest man in the world, was appointed in February by President Trump to lead the Government Efficiency Department (Doge), a newly formed agency aimed at reviewing federal operations.

Since its inception, the department has claimed substantial savings of taxpayers, although its official website has been plagued with frequent errors and corrections.

The United States Representatives Chamber approved the Comprehensive Tax and Expenses Law Project last Thursday, advancing much of Trump's political agenda while significantly increasing national debt.

According to estimates of the non -partisan Congress Budget office, the bill would add approximately $ 3.8 billion to the debt of $ 36.2 billion of $ 36.2 in the next ten years.

The bill was approved by little in the Chamber, obtaining the approval of a single vote. It is currently under consideration in the United States Senate.
