The Administrative Investigation Panel set up by the Enugu state government to investigate the recent loss of life and other serious bodily injury to private citizens and security personnel, as a result of the kidnapping by criminals of the #ENDSARS protests, than otherwise However, they would be peaceful, and recommending compensation that may be paid to them, has reminded the general public that the submission of letters of complaint and memoranda from the victims is still ongoing and closes on November 19, 2020.

The panel recalled when its members, led by its chair, Judge Fredrick Obieze (Rtd.), Made promotional visits to the leaders of various religious groups in the state, on the genuine intention of the state government to ensure that victims are compensated. as well as the need to involve them for the dissemination of adequate and timely information throughout all their places of worship to allow people to access the panel for presentations.

According to the panel, “the letters and memos that must be in two (2) copies and / or electronic copy must be presented before November 19, 2020 in the Conference Room, Office of the Head of Service, Secretary of State Enugu. Email: endsarspanel@gmail.com ”.

The religious leaders visited include the Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Enugu, Most Reverend CVC Onaga, Archbishop Emmanuel O. Chukwuma of the Ecclesiastical Province of Enugu (Anglican Communion), Archbishop Christopher Edeh of the Methodist Church of Nigeria and Sarki Hausa in Enugu , among others.

The panel members, who are also mandated to investigate the destruction of private citizens’ property and security infrastructure in Enugu State, were Professor Frank Ezugwu (Rector, ESUTH School of Medicine) – Member; Professor Agozie Ogbodo (Dean, School of Law, Godfrey Okoye University) – Member; HE. Igwe Emmanuel Ugwu (Traditional Ruler of Ibagwa Nike) – Member; Professor Ngozi Ejionueme (Head, Marketing Department, ESUT) – Member.

Others are Rev. Emmanuel Edeh (President of the CAN in the state of Enugu) – Member; Chief Frank Maluze (Surveyor and Chartered Appraiser) – Member; Comrade Modester Onwuha (Vice President, SUG, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus) – Member; Attorney Ben. Chinedu Oloko (Private lawyer representing young people) – Member and Mr. Charles Abugu (Permanent Secretary, Office of the Head of Service) – Secretary.
