Nigeria’s D’Tigress has officially secured a spot in the women’s basketball event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Despite a tough 100 – 46 loss to the USA in their second game at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Antwerp, Belgium, D’Tigress still managed to secure a ticket for the games.

Their qualification was confirmed after Senegal’s 97-66 loss to Belgium, eliminating them from contention.
Belgium and Nigeria have now both qualified for the Olympics, with the US already qualifying as World Champions.
D’Tigress bolstered their qualification hopes with a win against Senegal in their first game at the qualifying tournament.

This will mark their third appearance at the Olympics, following their participation in the Athens 2004 and Tokyo 2020 games.
