Faithful from Nigeria and 35 other countries attend the Dunamis Church event

Worshipers from 36 countries, including Nigeria, on Friday night attended the 2024 edition of “Worship of the Nations in His Presence”, organized by the Dunamis International Evangelical Church (DIGC), Abuja.

Additionally, thousands of worshipers from various countries joined the one-night service online.

The 35 foreign countries from which the faithful came are Angola, Australia, Belgium, Republic of Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, Canada, Equatorial Guinea, Finland, France, Gabon, Germany, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Iraq, Ireland, Italy and Costa de Ivory. .

They also came from Kenya, Liberia, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Romania, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Togo, Turkey, United States, United Kingdom, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

‘Worship of the Nations in His Presence’ takes place twice a year at the church headquarters on Airport Road in the Nigerian capital on the last Fridays of January and July.

The program, based on Psalm 86:9, also takes place during the 21 days of prayer and fasting that the church organizes in January and seven days in July.

In all, a total of 12 gospel music ministers from across the country participated in Friday’s edition which was held inside the church’s 100,000-seat Glory Dome between 9 p.m. and 5:45 a.m.

They are Owie Abutu, Prospa Ochimana, Judikay, Dusin Oyekan, Daniel Ekiko and Neon Adejo, Chioma Jesus, Nene Olajide, Steve Crown, GUC minister and Debbie Enenche-Uloko, daughter of the church’s senior pastor, Paul Enenche.

Oche Jon King, Joe Praize, Theophilus Sunday and Kaestring also performed.

For the first time since the beginning of the annual program, the approximately one-hour Commanding the Day Midnight Prayer (CTDMP) session was held during Friday’s edition.

Enenche, in his sermon titled “The Key of David,” to announce the worship session, said that praise, as he did with the biblical David, Paul and Silas, opens the doors of palaces, of power, of potential, of provision/prosperity, of prison. , progress and purpose.

The cleric, who based his sermon on Reverend 3:7-8, also said that consecration, unconditional and unrestricted praise opens doors for believers.
