Celebrity comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, also known as AY, is having a hard time explaining himself on Twitter. This is because fans of some celebrities are getting Twitter excited about their tweets.

It all started earlier this week when AY tweeted; on his official Twitter account, @AYCOMEDIAN, where he was presumably referring to one or two celebrities. This is what he tweeted: “Dear reigning and trending celebrity, before you allow fame to get the best of you, just know that you are digging your own grave. There is a reason 2baba, RMD and others are still in the same business where some do not last more than two years. Talent is not enough #humility.

This tweet caused him a lot of criticism from fans of some celebrities who felt that his tweet was referring to their favorite stars. Fans, especially Wizkid fans, pretty much made it clear to him that he was only criticizing the Star Boy. Others simply said it was looking for more relevance after a few years of inactivity in the entertainment industry.

Probably not pleased by the way his tweet was misinterpreted, the producer of ’30 Days in Atlanta ‘wondered why his tweet was misinterpreted through another tweet.

“I have come to understand that we all judge on the basis of orientation, education and self-assertion. A simple tweet about the importance of humility, suddenly translated to AY referring to Wiz, Naira, the SARS protest, and even BBN’s housemates. But why? AY he wondered.

This latest tweet, however, brought more criticism from fans. Some said he was sitting on the fence and was afraid to join the protests to end SARS because he had dined with those in power, others simply told him to join the protest or stop talking.
