The Federal Government has promised full support for a direct foreign investment plan of $ 400 million (FDI) to build the largest critical minerals and minerals in Africa in the state of Nasarawa, creating more than 10,000 jobs throughout the country.
The Minister of Development of Solid Minerals, DELE Alake, praised the financiers of the Hasetins Commodities Limited to enter the additional value campaign of the administration of President Bola Tinubu and confirm that mineral processing is the strategy to take the unemployed in the streets.
Hasetins expects to add 12,000 metric tons to its installed capacity of 6,000 current metric tons as preparations for the next innovation of the additional installation that collects the impulse.
By pointing out that it represents a significant milestone in efforts to stimulate investors in the mining sector, Alake said that the establishment of the mineral plant in Nasarawa would promote skills transfer and increase the contributions of the solid mineral sector to the economy.
Speaking during a courtesy visit of the managing director/CEO of Hasetins Commodities LTD, Prince Jidayi, and his team, Alake applauded the company for its strategic forecast and patriotic investment in a rare earth metal plant of $ 400, praising Hasetins for aligning its operations with the impulse of the federal government for internal processing and the benefits of minerals.

In his comments, Jidayi expressed a deep appreciation for the leadership and reforms of the minister, who according to him has significantly improved the confidence of investors and rationalized access to the mining sector.
“We have observed the introduction of mining marshals to combat illegal mining and reforms that have simplified the license process. These efforts have directly influenced our decision to invest a lot in this project. Beyond this flagship plant, we are also establishing regional separation plants and empowering local communities and miners,” he said.
Jidayi said that the company's model guarantees the benefit of the initial stage by separating the metals locally, generating immediate income for artisanal miners. The initiative also includes training, provision of broader community protection and participation.
Also speaking, the director of Corporate Affairs of Hasetins, Peter Butt, praised Alake for bringing a purpose and structure renewed to the mining sector. He stressed that the strong emphasis of the minister in the local value value reinforced the company's decision to invest in a sustainable development promoted by the community.
Hasetins Commodities LTD specializes in the production of critical metals essential for high -tech applications and defense systems, including rare earth and group metals of platinum (PGMS).
The minister reaffirmed the complete institutional support of the federal government for the project, underlining his alignment with the vision of the ministry of transforming the solid minerals of Nigeria into a cornerstone of industrial growth and economic diversification.
