While the opposition coalition against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to charge impulse, the group adopted on Monday the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and announced the former president of the Senate David Mark and Argbesola National Interim National Secretary Adc, as interim president and national secretary, respectively.
Tribune Online reports that the coalition, which includes prominent political figures such as former vice president Atiku Abubakar; former governor of Kaduna, Nasir el-Rufai; The former transport minister Rotimi Amachi, among others, made the decision after a high -level meeting in Abuja. The development marks a strategic movement of the opposition before the general elections of 2027, with the interim national secretary of ADC of Argbesola, playing a key role in the configuration of the direction of the operations and the agenda of the party.
The Interim National Secretary of ADC of Argbesola, who delivered his official acceptance speech, expressed his gratitude to represent the party as an interim national officer, while describing his vision for the party and the nation before the general elections of 2027.

Dear party leaders, distinguished members, friends and fellow citizens,
It is with a deep humility, a deep sense of duty and unwavering hope for our people, nation, race and party and that I accept the appointment as national secretary of our great party. The interim national secretary ADC ADC of Aregbesola considers this responsibility a call to rebuild, not only an organization, but a movement of committed citizens.
I thank the leadership for the trust deposited in me. But more than that, I thank all the committed members of this party and those who still believe that politics can be a force for good …

… This is not an easy task. It will take time. It will demand sacrifice. But it can be done. I ask for your support not only in words, but in action.
