The governor of the state of Ogun, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the construction of a ring perimeter and the installation of an activation System in the Ibara government reserve area, Abeokuta.
This effort is to guarantee adequate security for residents of the IBAR regeneration scheme.
This was revealed in a statement issued on Monday, the Housing Commissioner, Jamiu Akande omoniyi, that the security measures approved would also address the porosity of the entire IBARA GRA in the capital city of Abeokuta.
Omoniyi said that the governor's approval was an response to the appeals of the residents of the main GR, especially the subscribers of the GR regeneration scheme, who had raised serious concerns about the porosity of the heritage.
The commissioner also explained that the perimeter system and activities surrounded to the ring, which is synonymous with other private farms in the country, will not only improve property security architecture, but will also give a boom to the aesthetics of the GRA.
While praising Governor Abiodun for magnanimally passing the security system, Omaniyi reiterated his ministry's commitment to the implementation of the housing policy of the State Administration in the State.
He also expressed the commitment of the administration led by Governor Abiodun to reinvent GRAS throughout the state to be in conjunction with modern properties in the country.
However, the Housing Commissioner said that the commitment of the interested parties will be carried out to accommodate other areas that are not part of the new GRA regeneration scheme, in the approved security architecture of the heritage.
