Olubadan's designated Oba Rashidi, threatened that any monarch has found guilty of monopolizing the land and other criminal crimes would be treated in accordance with the law of the Earth.
The designated Olubadan who spoke through Elerin Olubadan de Ibadanland, Oba Hamidu Ajibade, issued the threat at a meeting held at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Armo on Monday.
Amaja advised them to resist the monitoring of land, the crisis and any act that could tarnish the image of Olubadan, the Advisory Council and the ancient city.

“Any traditional ruler who helps and abet the hoarding of land and other criminal acts will be seriously treated accordingly.
“You must realize that anywhere you are, you are representing Olubadan de Ibadanland, his advisory council and Ibadanland in general. Consequently, you must monitor the Mogajis and Baales under you to protect the dignity and integrity of Ibadanland,” he warned.
Olubadan's designated urged the sons, daughters and residents of Ibadanland to continue praying for the peaceful coexistence, unity, progress and development of the city.
Akinyele's Alakinyele, Oba James Odeniran, had previously said to Oba Laraja that they were in the palace to register their condolences in the passage of Oba Olakulehin late, and that they compromised their loyalty to the incoming olubadan of Ibadanland.
Present at the meeting were Otun Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Kolawole Adegbola; Ibadanland's Ashipa Balogun, Oba Daud.
