Ahead of the November 8 gubernatorial election in Anambra State, African Action Congress (AAC) candidate Chioma Ifemeludike has described herself as the best candidate in the race.
Ifemeludike, in a post on her X page on Tuesday, expressed confidence in her chances in the elections and said she is the candidate to beat.
She said: “I am the flag bearer of the AFRICAN ACTION CONGRESS (AAC) and I am proud to say that I am the best candidate in the Anambra gubernatorial election on November 8. The beacon is about to light up 🔥…”
Previously, Ifemeludike had pledged during a campaign to provide positive changes, good governance, quality education and security, if elected governor of the state.
Ifemeludike, who spoke during the party’s door-to-door and street-to-street campaign rally held across the state two weeks ago, said the rally is a call to action for all who believe in the party’s platform of economic growth, security and education.
She said: “This demonstration is to remind people that they cannot continue with the current slow, nepotic, inept and incompetent leadership that has been experienced in the last three and a half years. And if we continue with this type of leadership, we will not have the kind of future we want for our children.
“I am the only candidate who will liberate Anambra for the better. I am here to remind the good people of the state of my core priorities which are adequate security, quality education and strengthening fairness, equality, equity and the justice system in the state.
“This is a call to action for all who believe in our platform of economic growth, security and education. Your cooperation is not only a boost to our campaign and aspiration, but also a testament to our collective commitment to progressive governance and positive change.”
