Veteran actress Sola Sobowale talks about her lifestyle and how she has maintained her stance over the years. In this interview, the award-winning Nollywood Superstar, who is an actress, screenwriter, producer, and director, recounts her life experiences and what has kept her very active throughout the years.

Tell us about you?

I am Sola Sobowale, an actress, influencer, ambassador, mother, housewife and I am a down to earth person. I am a proud African with lovely children.

You’ve been in the Nollywood industry for decades and you’re still at the top of your game, how could you do this?

It is not by power but by the grace of God and nothing can be done without Him. Two, it is by hard work and you know that it is worth it, you have to believe in yourself, be very focused and ready to learn, and be corrected. . I am looking forward to conquering any challenge that comes my way and finally ready to lead everyone as a team player.

We see you wearing heels and following the latest style trends, what is your secret, how are you still so agile?

Eat well, exercise and sleep well. Not as processed food; I only go with natural foods that contain fiber and lots of vegetables. Try as much as you can to avoid processed carbohydrates since it contains a lot of sugar, it is not good for the system as one ages. And most importantly, the God factor in my life made a big difference.

You have been talking about eating well to stay fit and improve your well-being, what food do you like the most?

I eat a lot of fiber, vegetables and oats. To swallow, like black banana flour. They are naturally good for the body. The most important thing is that I rest and sleep well on a good mattress that is none other than Mouka. When I sleep on Mouka mattresses, I sleep well, my spine, muscles and joints are well rested. Improve your posture the next morning and you wake up very active and ready to do your daily activities.

You mentioned that Mouka is a brand that has grown with you for decades, can you shed more light on this?

At a very tender age, I met my parents using Mouka mattresses and that is what I use to date, even in my school days it was the same Mouka mattress. Mouka mattresses have been in Nigeria for decades, and their products are of a very high standard. And since I have come of age until now, Mouka’s quality has not changed and what can be used to describe the brand is a heritage of unmatched quality.

Mouka not only launches products, but interacts with its consumers to find out what they want and how they like it, and feedback determines what will be made and sold, therefore there are several Mouka mattresses for different ages, body structures, lifestyles and budget. However, they still retain the same quality for which they are known and their quality products are quite affordable.

When I was called to be an ambassador for Mouka, I laughed because I have been using the company’s products for years. Then I told them to visit my house, that I have more than 100 pieces of Mouka mattresses, which they did not believe until they arrived. As an actress and producer, when I’m at a film location, I always rent an entire building, love it with Mouka mattresses for my recordings, and have been able to achieve the desired comfort for all members of my team. .

Today, as it is, my parents are no longer with me, but they used Mouka mattresses until their last days. I am currently using Mouka mattresses, also my children, and it will pass to the next generation.

Becoming the face of your Wellness range is truly a perfect fit, as it has a long history with the brand. Tell us about the new range of Wellbeing orthopedic mattresses.

Mouka recently launched a new range of products called Wellness that is supported by the Nigerian Physical Therapy Society (NSP) and the Nigerian Association of Orthopedic and Manual Therapists. It is recommended for those of advanced age, especially for people 40 years and older.

The first mattress is called the Wellbeing Regal Orthopedic Mattress, which is great for seniors and people with back problems. Helps support the lower back, hips, and other pressure points, avoiding aches and pains.

The second mattress is called the Wellbeing Regina semi-orthopedic mattress, which is ideal for those who weigh up to 150 kg. It is semi orthopedic, which means it is still supportive, but not as firm as a full orthopedic mattress.

With what you have said about Mouka, has the company added comfort to life?

They have accomplished more than that. As I said before, I met my parents using Mouka mattresses, so they can see what I’m talking about. I will continue to tell Mouka’s story to everyone and will never tire of doing so.

What advice do you have for those who want to be fit, active, and on top of their game, like you?

Be prayerful and very optimistic and stay focused. Eat well, sleep well, exercise regularly and prepare to give your best in whatever you do in life, since my motto in life is to do what you want others to do to you, always be optimistic and believe in yourself. .
