The Minister of the Territory of the Federal Capital (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared that he did not support the emergency declaration of President Bola Tinubu in Los RÃos.
Wike also clarified that he has no crisis with the governor of the state of Rivers, Sim Fubara.
He said this while he headed to journalists in Abuja on Monday.

“I have no crisis with him (Fubara). I am not the president who declared an emergency state; if Mr. President had called me, I would not have accepted the state of emergency,” Wike said.
Wike explained that Fubara allowed himself to be used by his enemies to fight him, adding that the emergency declaration intended to prevent the governor from outside the accusation.
“He knows when to lift, he has everything about his table, I don't know. I have never supported him.
“But what I said was that the statement of state of emergency was to save the governor because he was almost accused.
“I have no crisis, but the governor, unknown to me, gave himself to be the tool for those who could not fight with me to fight with me,” Wike emphasized.
