… binds to dignitaries for the burial of the former president
Police Inspector, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has in the name of the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), expressed condolences to the federal government, the government and the people of the state of Katsina, and the Buhari family for the approval of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
The PPE declared this in a press release issued by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, a copy that was made available to journalists on Tuesday.
The PPE described the death of the older statesman as a monumental national loss, noting that the late former president served Nigeria for dedication, courage and integrity as a military leader and a democratically elected president, leaving a legacy of service, discipline and patriotism.

In honor of the late president, the IGP personally directed a delegation of officers superior to Daura, state of Katsina, to attend the burial ceremony, which was held in line with the Islamic rites on Tuesday.
The IGP joined the dignitaries led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, prominent Nigerians, traditional rulers and political leaders who gathered to present their last respect for the deceased Nigerian leader.
The statement also added that all the police force of Nigeria pray for the peaceful rest of the soul of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The PPE, therefore, encouraged the Nigerians to defend the values of the construction of the nation, responsibility and leadership that the late former president exemplified throughout his life.
