Indections: Ukraine, Russia for 'Immediately' will begin negotiations – Trump

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that Russia and Ukraine will immediately begin the negotiations of Alto El Fuego, after a two -hour phone call with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

Trump said: “Russia and Ukraine will immediately begin the negotiations towards a high fire and, more importantly, the end of the war.”

Speaking in Truth Social, Trump emphasized that the terms of the high fire would be determined only by the parties involved.

He said: “The conditions for that will be negotiated between the two parties, as it can only be, because they know details of a negotiation that no one else would be aware.”

He described the conversation with Putin as a “excellent” tone and spirit.

Trump also suggested that Russia is anxious to pursue economic ties with the United States once the conflict concludes, saying: “Russia wants to make a large -scale trade with the United States when this catastrophic” Bloodbath “ends, and I agree.

“There is a great opportunity for Russia to create large amounts of jobs and wealth. Its potential is unlimited.” He also pointed out that Ukraine “can be a great beneficiary in commerce.”

After the call, Trump said he informed several world leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen ,, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and the president of Finnish Alexander Stubb.

Trump also mentioned that the Vatican had expressed interest in organizing the negotiations, adding: “The Vatican, as represented by the Pope, has declared that he would be very interested in organizing the negotiations. That the process begins!”

The conversation with Putin is the third phone call known between the two leaders since the inauguration of Trump in January.

According to CNN, Trump, who has been frustrated more and more with Putin's position on peace conversations, told reporters in Abu Dhabi last week that he believes he can only advance in stagnant negotiations.

The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, echoed Trump's feeling on Monday, stating that the president “has tired and frustrated with both sides of the conflict”, and that his main objective “is to see the fire a stop and see that this conflict comes to an end.”
