The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published an update on the continuous record of continuous voters throughout the country.
This update was contained in a statement issued Monday by Sam Olumekun, National Commissioner and President, Information Education Committee and Voters.
The INEC commissioner said that the third week of the continuous voter registry online and the second week of the physical option (in person) show that a total of 3,54,850 Nigerians have registered online.

He said that since the year announcement, the figures show that 1,709,933 (48.24%) are men and 1,834,917 (51.76%) are women.
“In terms of age and occupation, the majority 2,291,809 (64.65%) are between 18 and 34 years old, while 882,441 (24.89%) are students,” said Olumekun.
In the completed registry, Olumekun said INEC would present the combined figures of complete online pre -registration and physical record (in person) in a single graph for this week.
“The cumulative figure from the Physical Registry (in person) began on August 25, 2025 is 288,614 from Thursday, September 4, 2025 of which 132,634 (45.96%) are men and 155,980 (54.04%) are women. In terms of age and occupation, 215,414 (74.64%) are between the ages of 18 and 34,14,14,14 years.
“The distribution of online and complete records per state, gender, age, occupation and disability has been charged to our website and other official platforms to obtain public information,” he said.
The Commission even more appreciated the positive response of citizens and organizations that have mobilized civic participation for exercise.
He also said that the registration of voters is only open to citizens who are 18 years or older at the time of registration, since it is illegal that anyone encourages the registration of minors in advance that this population of people will reach the legal age of voting for when the general elections are maintained in 2027.
