The Orijeru of the Igbooye kingdom, Oba Abdulrasaq Akanni Musa, has been formally invested and admitted to the EPE Council of Obas and Chiefs in an investment ceremony that took place during the recent general meeting of the Council held in the Secretary of the Local Government of EPE.
The investiture took place exactly one year after the kingdom formally present Prince Abdulrasaq Akanni Musa to the dear advice of obas and bosses for support, as part of the initial process that leads to the eventual installation and presentation of the government personnel by the state government.
The EPE council meeting of Obas and Chiefs was chaired by the president, Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun, Oloja de Epe, and the bosses who were appointed recently appointed in the Council include Chief Abdulbariu Olugbenga Quadri as Olisa; Chief Moruff Oluwadare Salami as EGBO; Chief Rufus Adedipe as Aare; Chief Yinka Ograimehin as Balogun and Chief Rasaq Sanni as Otun.
Others are Chief Oluranti Adabanjo as Eleku; Adegbenro Otunnowo Chief as Oluti; Chief (Mrs.) Silifatu Amadasun as iyalode; and Mrs. Olusola Odusanya-Bolio as Erelu.
In his comments, Oba Animashaun welcomed Oba Abdulrasaq Akanni Musa in the fold of traditional rulers within the division and offered words of encouragement and fervent sentences, wishing him a successful and impacting reign as the Orijeru of the Igbooye kingdom.
After the investiture, Oba Abdulrasaq Musa organized a brief but symbolic reception at the Orijeru Palace, where he met with the key interested parties of the Kingdom of Igbooye, including the Baales Council of Igbooye.
During the meeting, the Orijeru made an important announcement regarding the appointment of the traditional chiefs that will serve as pillars of traditional governance and cultural administration within the kingdom, emphasizing that the selection of the chiefs reflects the cultural traditions and the official declaration that governs the Kingdom of the Igbooye.
He reiterated that each ruling house and the rooms of the kingdom have been duly represented to guarantee equity, equity and inclusion in the traditional governance structure, and adds that there are positions so that the fees of fees are conferenced to distinguished and non -homeless indigenous indigenous people and non -homeless of Igbooye.
However, he added that all the tribute will be subject to a rigorous detection process to ensure that they have an outstanding moral character and that they are able to maintain the honor and dignity of the kingdom.
