No less than 2,217 medical cases and 35 surgical operations were carried out during the second phase of medical dissemination organized by the attached president of the Chamber of the Assembly of the State of Benue, HE. Lami Danladiigogenyi.
The medical dissemination, held under the Foundation of Medical Scope Lami, took place during the week at the Primary Health Center, Ukwonyo-Utonkon, in the area of ​​the local government of ADO.
According to a statement by the Vice President’s press secretary, Agbaji Samuel Atsonwu, the medical scope was part of his electoral project.
He said the vice president brought together a team of highly qualified surgeons and medical professionals who provided free health services to community residents.
The media assistant of the attached speaker said that surgical operations were carried out in patients with hernia, hydrocelectomies, appendectomy, lipoma splits and the elimination of abnormal growth and packages, all destined to relieve pain and improve the quality of life of patients.
In addition to surgeries, the media assistant also declared that more than two thousand residents of the local government benefited from medical consultations, treatment of common ailments, health exams and medications, which included malaria, typhoid, hepatitis, VDRL, HVS and H. pylori (ulcer), as well as the monitoring of blood pressure and blood tests in blood. All cases diagnosed were managed and treated effectively.

According to the statement, “in the Ophthalmology Unit, hundreds of residents with various degrees of eye problems were examined using modern diagnostic machines. Many received medications and medicated lenses, while others received advice and professional references for new optical surgeries when necessary.
“The beneficiaries and the entire UFIA community expressed a deep gratitude, describing the scope as historical and a lighthouse of hope for the people of Ado. They offered sincere sentences by the vice president, praising their compassion and commitment to address the critical needs of health in the local government and beyond.
“It is important to keep in mind that the successful conclusion of the Ukwonyo-Uronkon phase only marks the beginning, since the medical team will continue the scope in other parts of ado to ensure that each resident has access to these services that save lives.”
