MTN, a multimillionaire Naira network company, has empowered no less than 5,000 students from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).
The company delivered free portable computers, varied phones, energy banks and other network facilities, including a new RCV 3 changai 3 for the raffle winner
Speaking in the invasion of the MTN Pulse campus held at The Citadel of Learning, on Thursday, the proposal and the strategy and the insight-marketing strategy (youth segment) MTN Nigeria, Femi Adesina described the 3-day activation in the future as a program of empowerment and entertainment designed for young people predominantly in tertiary institutions in the country.
He said that the event in Futo is the second edition of the MTN Pulse Campus invasion that has offered students the platform to show their business for sponsorship.

Adesina said that the event also aims to sensitize students in entertainment areas and added that during the event, there were games and competitions that in the end brought to the Winers.
He said that the invasion of the MTN Pulse campus, which was held for the first time at the University of Abuja before Futo moves to the University of Benin and some other tertiary institutions in the north.
He engaged to some of MTN’s commercial partners to include LG, Matter Guinness, Microsoft, Cream, among others, and added that the company has committed a lot of money to achieve good results.
In response to the programs, a student of 400 levels of chemical engineering, in Futo, Ugoeke Williams, said MTN is desired to empower young people aimed at universities students.
Ugoeke, who is a beneficiary of MTN Scolarship between 2023-2024, said MTN had offered learning opportunities to students in Nigerians and at the same time created MTN Skill Academy where young people can go and learn powerful technical skills.
He said that with this MTN has offered confidence to all Nigerian students despite infrastructure limitations.
Williams advised other students to take advantage of MTN’s good job and start at the Academy of Skills to Learn to Operate Technologically.
