The daughter of Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has called for urgent help, revealing that the veteran actor is battling stage 4 cancer.

In an emotional video shared online, she revealed that her father is currently suffering from pain and has not been able to continue with chemotherapy.

According to her, the hospital treating her father told the family that he could no longer receive chemotherapy.

He appealed to people who may know of hospitals, doctors or other legitimate cancer treatment options that could help the actor reach his family.

“Hello everyone. I’m here for my dad. He has cancer and it’s stage 4,” he said.

“The hospital says they can’t treat him again, like they can’t give him chemotherapy again.”

He also expressed his gratitude to Senator Enoh, who he said had been helping the family and paying the actor’s medical bills.

He clarified that the family was not primarily looking for financial assistance, but rather was looking for someone who could help treat their father.

“We are not here to beg for money. And I would really love to appreciate Senator Enoh. He has been the one who has helped us. He has been the one who has paid the bills,” he said.

The actor’s daughter asked for help through medical treatment and urged anyone who knew of a possible way to help her father to contact the family.

“I’m here so that if you can treat my dad, you can start chemotherapy,” he said.

He added that his father was in a lot of pain and reportedly told him that he did not want to die.

“My dad doesn’t want to die. He said he doesn’t want to… my dad is suffering. He’s suffering. Please,” she said.

He further revealed that his father’s stomach was swollen and that he had been crying in pain.

“My dad’s stomach is swollen. He’s crying,” she said.

She urged members of the public who knew someone capable of providing adequate cancer treatment to contact her, her sister or the actor directly.

“Guys, please, I’m begging you. Any help, anything, anyone you know who can treat cancer, please,” he pleaded.

He said his sister could access the actor’s phone and respond to messages sent to his social media account.

“Please can you DM me, or my sister, or even her own DM. My sister will be able to reach her phone,” he added.
