Olubadan Coronation: The Committee announces the traffic diversion, provides transport buses

The Organizing Committee of the Olubadan Coronation Ceremony has announced the closure of certain routes that lead to Mapo Hall, the place of the coronation ceremony that will take place on Friday.

Chief Bayo Oyero, the former general president of the Central Council of Indigenous Ibadan (CCII) and president of the Committee, issued the traffic notice in a statement on Tuesday.

Traffic deviations are necessary due to the assistance of President Bola Tinubu and other dignitaries at the coronation ceremony.

The affected routes will be closed on Friday from 7:00 am the specific routes included in the notice are: Beere Junction towards Mapo Hall, a crossing of photos born to Oja’ba, Unión idi-arree towards Oja’ba and Itamerin Junction towards Mapo Hall.

However, the Committee assured that it has provided three official parks designated in Ibadan to include: the parking lot of the local government of Ibadan Norte in front of the Immigration Office, Agodi, with the second parking lot located in the football field next to the Yemetu Police Station, while the third parking lot is in the Liberty stadium, Oke Ado.

The committee added that buses will be provided to transmit to supporters with valid invitation cards to Mapo Hall from the designated parking lots.

He ordered all food and other suppliers to make sure they reach the place between 6 am and 6:45 am

However, the Committee clarified that only the president’s convoys and the governors can apply the roads that lead to Mapo Hall.
