Ondo Subeb chief has been Aiyedatiwa on Tescom’s appointments

The Executive President of the Board of Universal Education of Ondo State (Subeb), Rt. Excmo Victor Olabimtan, known as the head of the Ondo Subeb, has promised the decision of the state governor to appoint experienced educators for the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

Olabimtan, the head of Ondo Subeb, declared this in a statement signed by him, saying that the recent appointment reflects the broader political commitment of the Aiyedatiwa administration to strengthen education in Ondo.

Olabimtan argued that the measure is aligned with the determination of the state government to improve teaching standards, improve the well -being of teachers and guarantee an effective service provision in secondary schools.

He explained that the new Tescom Board, directed by Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwadaisi Oke, includes experienced administrators and retired school leaders whose experience will help boost reforms in the education sector.

Olabimtan described all the newly appointed members of the Board as round pins in round holes, adding that they complement their role as head of Ondo Subeb.

He said: “I am glad to see them load with the responsibility of leading Tescom. His is a well -deserved appointment, and I am sure of his ability to use this position for the well -being of our people.”

“This appointment is not just about filling positions; it is about building a more solid basis for quality education in Ondo, an objective shared by the head of Ondo Subeb.

“Posterity will remember you forever as a governor who exhibits a great passion for education by appointing educators experienced and experienced as members of the Board of Ondo State Tescom.”

Olabimtan emphasized that the appointments are expected to advance the ‘Outor’ agenda of the governor, particularly when addressing the deployment of teachers, professional development and student performance results.

He urged the new members of Tescom to justify the confidence placed in them, emphasizing that their role would be fundamental in the implementation of educational policies that shape the future of the State.
