A head of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the hope of Governor, Col (DR) GBENGA ADEGBOLA have insisted that the clamor for the zoning of the governorship seats to the OKE-OGUN area would not affect the existing link of the unity between the various vis-a-visas political groups in the state.
Adegbola released this in a secondary interview after visiting some security agencies and political leaders in Ibadan on Wednesday.
He argued that, although other areas had occupied the political leadership seat in the state, Oke-Gun still has no pleasure despite his support for other areas.
Adegbola, who has just retired from the Nigerian army, as Colonel said he had everything that is needed to lead the State in 2027.
“I have announced my intention during my visit to the National Secretariat of our party in Abuja. I will bring my great experience as an administrator and security strategist to test state issues.
I want to recommend Governor Seyi Makinde for his approach to the security situation in the State.
There is a low rate of crimes and criminal activities in the 33 areas of the local government.
However, there is still much to do to guarantee zero tolerance for crimes and criminals.
If you are given the opportunity to serve as the next state governor, I will bring my great experience as a retired military officer.
In addition, if there is an adequate security provision, local and foreign investors will be encouraged to invest in the system.
Adegbola added that his visit to security agencies was due to interest in the state security apparatus.
In his comment, the Oyo NSCDC commander, Augustine Padonu, said the Corp is ready to fulfill its duty to protecting critical national assets in individuals, state and private.
Meanwhile, another APC boss, Lowo Obisesan said that Adegbola has what is needed to become the state governor that passes through his pedigree and antecedent.
