The members of the press team of the Chamber of Representatives of the Government of the State of Bauchi have been praised for their resilience, dedication to the duty and exhibition of professionalism in the performance of their functions.
The recommendation was made by the president of the Chamber of the Status Assembly of Bauchi, RT Hon Abubakar Y. Suleiman, while declared that he opens a two -day retreat for the press team of the Government House, held in Kano on Sunday.
Abubakar Y. Suleiman used the occasion to call members of the press crew to remain focused on the new skills that experts would teach them, to perform their duties more effectively.
He stressed that such improvements would help them catch up with the latest trends in journalism and allow the effective presentation of the activities of the state governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, so that the public appreciates it.
The speaker declared that during his mandate as president of the speaker conference, he had the opportunity to visit all governmental houses throughout the country, and that the press team of the Government of the State of Bauchi remains the best in terms of performance.
Abubakar Suleiman urged them to make sure that after the withdrawal, they return more vibrant and ready to function even better than in the past.
Also speaking, the Information and Communication State Commissioner, HE. Usman Shehu Usman praised the special advisor to the media and advertising governor, comrade Mukhtar Gidide, for organizing retirement at this important moment of the administration.
He stressed that the withdrawal aligns with the objective of the governor to achieve a new and functional Bauchi state through its Mybauchistategenda, driven by the vibrant dissemination of information and public lighting.
According to him, in line with this vision, the governor has embarked on renewing state -owned media organizations, Bauchi Radio Corporation and Bauchi State Television (BATV), buying new and modern technological facilities for them.
He assured that the newly equipped stations would soon begin the complete transmission and would be received in neighboring states, thus projecting government activities to a broader audience.
