The First Lady of Zamfara State, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has reaffirmed her commitment to helping vulnerable families by donating food and clothing to the mother who gave birth to quadruplets in Bungudu Local Government Area of ​​the state.

In a statement issued by the Office of the Press Secretary of the First Lady, Rabi Yusuf, it was said that the First Lady’s visit came after an earlier meeting at the Federal Medical Center in Gusau, where she met the mother after the safe delivery of the babies.

“This continued commitment indicates the First Lady’s dedication to improving maternal health, strengthening child well-being, and providing targeted assistance to families in need across the state,” the statement said.

The Governor’s wife delivered donations to the family, including bags of rice, grains, sugar and other foodstuffs, as well as cartons of milk, baby bath sets, newborn clothes, mothers’ clothes and other vital household items.

In response, the quadruplets’ father, Malam Lawali Sanusi, expressed his deep gratitude for the generous intervention.

“We are truly grateful for Her Excellency’s kindness. This gesture has brought great relief to our house and we pray that Allah rewards her abundantly,” he said.

According to the statement, the Office of the First Lady remains committed to championing initiatives that improve the well-being of women, children and vulnerable groups across Zamfara State.
