At least 27 people have died after sudden catastrophic floods in Texas, including nine children.
The authorities say that floods, caused by heavy rains, swept Kerr County on early Friday.
Among the missing ones are 27 girls from a Christian summer camp.
“We will not stop until each person is found,” said Kerr County Sheriff, Larry Leitha.
Until now, more than 850 people have been rescued, including more than 160 by air.
The number of victims can continue to increase as search efforts intensify.

Heavy rains are expected to continue, with sudden flood warnings still active in parts of the Texas center.
