Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, who represents the Senatorial District of Osun East, has launched an empowerment scheme of spin loans aimed at supporting more than 700 owners of small businesses and businessmen in their constituency.
The initiative, in association with the Ministry of Cooperatives and empowerment of the State of Osun, seeks to address the financing challenges facing the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in the area, promoting economic independence and the relief of poverty at the base level.

Senator Fadahunsi, who also serves as president of the Senate Industry Committee, emphasized that the program is a strategic investment instead of a brochure. It is designed to promote sustainable development by empowering women and young people to become self -sufficient.
According to a statement by the senator, “the rotating nature of the loan means that beneficiaries must pay on time to allow continuous support for future entrepreneurs, ensuring the sustainability of the scheme.”
Fadahunsi revealed that the initiative has received praise from the Government of the State of Osun, which praised his dedication to community development and entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the disbursement ceremony, the State Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment, the Honorable Bayo Oguggbangbe, stressed the importance of responsible use of loans and the appropriate reimbursement to maintain the impact of the fund.
The empowerment scheme complements the previous efforts of the senator and reinforces its commitment to economic growth and base sustainability.
