The Federal Superior Court sitting in Abuja was Monday, he was asked to issue a perpetual court order, which restricts former President Goodluck Jonathan to appear at any political party in the country in order to dispute the presidential elections of 2027.
The Court was also urged to prohibit the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to accept from any political party, the name of Jonathan or publish the same as a candidate duly nominated for the presidential contest.
While former President Jonathan was summoned as the first accused in the matter, both the INEC and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) were listed as the second and third accused, respectively.
Specifically, the lawsuit, marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/2102/2025, which was presented to the court by a lawyer, Mr. Johnmary Chukwukasi Jideobi, raised a lonely question for the court to determine:
“Either in view of the combined provisions of all sections 1 (1), (2) and (3) and 137 (3) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria amended and its confused interpretation, the first accused is eligible, under any circumstance [whatsoever] Dispute the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
After the determination of the question, the plaintiff seeks “a declaration of this honorable court that, in an intimate reading and a complete understanding of all sections 1 (1), (2) and (3) and 137 (3) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the first defendant (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan) is ineligible to defend the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office of the office The office of the office of the office of the Nigeria office of Nigeria.

“A perpetual mandate order of this honorable court that restricts the second accused (INEC) to accept from any political party in Nigeria the name of the first accused or publish the same as a candidate for the election in the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which remains in 2027 and other years to come.”
And “an order of this honorable court that indicates to the third accused (AGF) to guarantee the fulfillment of the decisions and orders of this court.”
In an affidavit of facts that was deposed in support of the lawsuit for an Emmanuel Agid Children of the years of the years, would have exceeded 8 years. Statutory is allowed to remain in office.
