The interested parties in the development area of the Local Council of Agbado/Oke-EO (LCDA) of the State of Lagos, including leaders, the presidents of the Chamber and the members, reaffirmed their opposition on Friday and the total rejection of what they called an attempt to impose the Ishola abiodun ejigbadero as the flag of the congress of all the progressive (APC) in the next council of July in the next council in the next council in the next council in the state state.
The interested parties reiterated this position at a press conference held at the Secretariat of the Party in Agbado/Oke-ono Lcda, led by the leader of the LGA Apex, the cooperator Olusegun Shodiya.
He said they took “this position of principles in the best long -term interest of our party, since we do not expect any right person to do the opposite unless the objective is to eliminate the APC for the following reasons.”
Shodiya, speaking at the conference attended by former scribe LGA, ALH. Olanrewaju Baruwa; Mr. Olamigoke Phillips; Vice President of LGA, Mrs. Funmilayo Ojelabi; Leader leader, Ms. Mary Isehola; LGA secretary, Hon. Tajudeen alimi-shittu; And Dr. Benard Ajayi, insisted that Ejigbadero, whose ticket was playing, had never been a member of the ruling APC or participated in any meeting, programs or events anywhere in Agbado/OKE -ODO LCDA from the beginning. He supported this claim with a letter signed by all the members of the Executive Committee of Ward E, Agbelekale/Olota, to which Ejigbadero is supposed to belong.
In addition, he argued that the APC presidency for Agbado/Oke -odo Lcda, Ejigbadero, did not win the party's primaries. He expressed confidence that the primary election appeal committee would act precisely in accordance with APC rules and regulations.
“We, the leaders, the presidents of the Chamber and the members of the LGA in Agbado/Oke -odo Lcda, who had chosen to take the path of truth and honor, we have decided to reaffirm our opposition and the total rejection of an attempt to impose the state of the local government of Ishola Abiodun Ejigbadero as the great party of our great party, all progressive, in the local elections of the local government of the local government of July 24.
“As loyal and committed members of the part, we have taken this position of principles in the best long -term interest of our party, since we do not expect any right person to do the opposite unless the objective is to eliminate the APC for the following reasons.

“This fact is contained in a letter signed by all members of the exco of the Chamber (Ward E, Agbelekale/Olota) that is claiming and presented to the office of the president of the party before the primaries on May 5, 2025 (attached copy),” said Shodiya.
“Ishola Jimoh, as presented in the course of time, did not win the primary of the presidency elections and, while we wait He added, he added.
Shodiya, while maintaining the opposition of interested parties to Ejigbadero, declared that the president of the Titular Council, Hon. David Famuyiwa, to be considered for a second term, “through the tradition of our party” and considering “its empirical registration of performance, interaction and service to the party.”

The APC Chieftain dissociated those interested in a matter of what a spurious statement that circulated on social networks, which said the party's leadership had taken a position on the issues. He declared that they were still followers and apostles of President Tinubu, since they fervently believed in him and, therefore, “have no reason to deviate from this path, either now or in the future.”
“In conclusion, we would like to dissociate from a spurious statement that makes the rounds on social networks that the leadership of the party has taken a position on the previous issues.
“In Agbado/Oke -odo Lcda, we are people, followers and apostles of Tinubu. We fervently believe in it, we have always been loyal to its course as our Pathfinder and the main leader.
“We have no reason to deviate from this path, either now or in the future,” said interested parties.
