Google on Thursday released its Year in Search 2025 report, offering a breakdown of the events, personalities, entertainment highlights and cultural trends that dominated online curiosity around the world this year.
Google’s latest rankings highlight the people who shaped digital conversations throughout the year, driven by entertainment, politics, global events and cultural influence.
According to the list published in the “People” category, the American singer d4vd took first place as the most searched person worldwide in 2025.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar followed in second place, reflecting continued interest in his music and public appearances. Late night host Jimmy Kimmel took third place, while Tyler Robinson and Pope Leo XIV rounded out the top five.
