President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reiterated on Saturday the commitment of his administration to treat all sections of the country with rapid growth and rapid development, through the various sectors of the economy.
The president declared this through the Federation’s Secretary of the Government, Senator George Akume during this year’s edition of the Cultural Festival in the local government area of ​​the State of Benue.
Senator Akume, who represented the president on the occasion, said that, under the renewed agenda of hope, all sections of the country are experiencing rapid growth and development, through the various sectors of the economy.

He said: “The renewed agenda of hope of President Tinubu has been able to touch in all regions of the country, with the economy growing in a positive trajectory as both the base and superstructure are rapidly accelerating.”
Senator Akume pointed out that the state of Benue has greatly benefited from the administration of Tinubu with juicy appointments and physical infrastructure.
He promised that the State would continue to witness more sponsorship of the administration of Tinubu, and added that the contract for the construction of Oju-Ogoja Road had already been granted.
While praising the Traditional Igede Council to preserve the new Yam Festival of Igede Agba, Akume said the festival has remained a unity lighthouse among his sons and daughters.
The SGF said that President Tinubu recognized the importance of traditional institutions that he described as an instrument for peace, unity and progress.
“It is also a real tool for the current administration to explore to solve development purposes and other diverse problems,” Akume said.
He also pointed out the critical role of the traditional institution in peace construction processes in problematic areas.

In his previous speech, the traditional ruler, his real highness, Adiharu de Igede, Oga Ero thanked the president for honoring his invitation and also appreciated him for connecting Benue with the national government through the SGF and other juicy appointments.
He said: “His excellence, Lord, me and all my kingdom we are very grateful for his honor of our humble invitation to be part of this year’s celebration of our rich cultural heritage.
“We are overwhelmed by the joy of receiving the news of the prize for the construction of Oju-Ogoja Road. This path has been a nightmare for us over the years until his government gently came to our rescue.“
