The Popular Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara has resolved to sue the Minister of State for Defense, Hon. Bello Mattawalle for allegedly defame the character of the Dauda Lawal Governor in the State.
In a statement, issued by the party spokesman, Halliru Andi said that PDP has completed the arrangements to sue Matawalle for his murder of characters and unfounded claims against Governor Dauda Lawal.

The statement says: “The PDP Labor Committee of the State of Zamfara (SWC) under the leadership of Dr. Jamil Jibo Magayaki is considering dragging the State Minister of State, Bello Matawalle, to the Court for his murder of character and unfounded claims against his excellence, Governor Dauda Lawal.
“We have been monitoring body language and without surveillance expressions of Bello Matawalle and we are considering the judicial action against him.
“We have resolved to initiate legal actions against him just to remind him of his limits as a junior minister without immunity and serve as a deterrent to other selfish politicians in the state.”
Andi emphasized that “the PDP would no longer tolerate the bitterness policy of the faction of the Matawalle APC.”
“We cannot be intimidated by Matawalle or its sinking faction of the APC,” Andi added..
