The Chief Medical Director (CMD), Mother Theresa Specialist Hospital and Fertility Center, Asaba Delta State Dr. Charles Eromosele Uhioh has revealed that 1,200 million people in the world suffer infertility.
Expressing concern for the alarming rate of the health condition in the commemoration of the two decades of unwavering health benefit of the hospital over the weekend, UHioh revealed that 15 % of the world population of eight billion has difficulties with infertility.

An obstetrician and gynecologist/ infertologist consultant, Uhioh advised couples with challenges that always approach medical experts instead of looking for traditional means or charlatans for solutions.
Uhioh said: “There are different causes of infertility that involves both men and women, while about 10 percent of the causes are metically known as” inexplicable infertility. “
“What that means is that the woman's fallopian tubes are blocked or has not been ovulating for any reason.
“And from the man's side, towards the semen profile, a situation in which man has problems with counting, less than 15 million, or sperm, even when they are there, they are abnormal with the big head, two stories or do not move.”
The CMD encouraged couples who suffer from the condition not to lose hope, but to seek adequate medical advice after the advent of technologies.
“But with the latest technology, we can reduce the burden of infertility in the last 10 years,” said the doctor born in Edo who revealed that the hospital could help thousands of people overcome infertility problems.
“Twenty years ago, the hospital opened its doors to provide exceptional medical care services to people.
