Kogi state government officials have supported the second -period offer of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the re -election project of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Speaking at a press conference in Lokoja, Hon. Bode Adeyemi, president of the Combined State Government forum, said the support was necessary given the president's exceptional performance in the last two years.

According to Adeyemi, “the current presidency has expelled Nigeria from the negative economic, security, infrastructure, education and medical care qualification and has stabilized the system in one that is a vision of the future and promising.”
He added that the direction of government policy has returned to Nigeria del Bosque and has put it on the path of unstoppable progress towards shared prosperity for all Nigerians.
Kogi officials praised Tinubu for their achievements, including the elimination of subsidies in oil derived products, allocation of large resources to subnational governments and several infrastructure development projects.
They also chose the human and equal leadership of Governor Ododo, who has changed the well -being of people and made Kogi one of the fastest growing states.
The appointed ones promised to use their numbers, strategic positions and political weight to “deliver 239,000 votes to President Tinubu and all the 2027 candidates of the party in the state.”
They announced the creation of the “Kogi continuity mandate” as the political organization under which they will mobilize electorates for the update of the Tinubu -ododo continuity mandate.
Governor Ododo was adopted as the great patron of the new organization, while the Vice Governor, Joel Salifu, was appointed president of the Board of Trustees.
The group also constituted several committees, including a political committee, Pet Projects Committee and Media Committee, to boost their mobilization efforts.
The combined forum of appointed, comprised of the Commissioner Forum, Special Advisors Forum, Senior Special Assistant Forum, Forum of Special Assistants of the Local Government and Forum of Special neighborhood assistants, made a formal support and a statement of support for President Tinubu and the continuity of Governor Ododo in office.
They committed to “mobilize 239,000 trables for the game in 2027”.
