Tems, a famous singer from Nigeria who has won a Grammy award, shared a fun story about when she was a kid. She said she would often pretend to be like the American rapper Lil Wayne.
During a chat on ‘The Cruz Show’ on Real 92.3 FM, Tems, who has also been nominated for an Oscar, talked about how she used to act like a rapper. She liked hip-hop music a lot and looked up to Lil Wayne as her hero.
Tems said, “Hip-hop is what I love. I liked to act like I was a rapper. I really love Lil Wayne, and I used to pretend to be just like him when I was little.”
Now, Tems is excited because she hopes to meet Lil Wayne face-to-face one day.
She added, “I haven’t met Wayne yet. I really want to see him soon, and I feel it’s going to happen very soon!”
