President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday greetings to the Governor of the State of Osun, Senator Adela Adelek, who turned 65 on Tuesday, describing him as a politician of national importance and a symbol of unity.
In a statement issued by the House of Representatives and signed by Bayo Onanuga, special advisor to the President of Information and Strategy, Tinubu praised Governor Adeke for his contributions to the public service and politics, noting that the Democratic Party (PDP) of the People (PDP) has carved a niche for himself not only in Osun but throughout the country.
“President Tinubu points out that the governor of the Democratic Party of the Peoples has established himself as an importance of importance not only in the state of Osun but also throughout the country and beyond,” he reads in the statement.
The president recognized the political trip of Adelev, remembering his entrance to the Senate in 2017 after the death of his older brother, Senator Isiaka Adekeke, and his eventual election as governor in 2022.
In a sample of good bipartisan will, Tinubu praised the inclusive style of Adelev and cultural identity, highlighting its Yoruba and Igbo roots as a testimony of its pan-nigerian perspective.

The president also offered personal prayers for the governor of the State of Osun, wishing to continue good health, more years of service and divine blessings while celebrating this milestone.
Senator Adeke, called with love, the “dancer senator” before his governor victory, currently has the traditional title of Edlanda like Edlanda in his hometown of EDE.
