She said: “I feel deeply honored to be in front of you today for these two very important events: the inauguration of the defense of the introduction of the Rubella measles vaccine in the state of Anambra and another phase of distribution of the healthy Pap of Nonye. These two programs are unique because they seek the health, growth and well -being of our children.
“As a mother, woman and defender of public health, I was particularly moved by the importance of what we have all met here to identify me. It marks a critical step in our collective effort to protect our children, the future of our beloved state of preventable diseases.
“Measles and rubella are highly contagious viral infections that have led to unnecessary suffering, complications and even deaths among our children. With the introduction of this combined vaccine, we now have a powerful tool to change that narrative, to reduce infant mortality, prevent long -term disabilities and ensure the health of future generations.
“The health of healthy life, on the other hand, has proven to be another great intervention that has changed the nutritional story of the state of Anambra. I am happy to describe this as a solid mile And the resiliences without the efforts of our dedicated efforts that ensured that the product reached the right people.
“We do not need to review all the full details again. The documentary we just saw provided an exhaustive evaluation and an idea of our entire trip. Do something.
“On the other hand, for the defense of measles-rubella, it is imperative to know that it is not just about managing vaccines. It is about generating trust, disseminating consciousness and ensuring that all parents, caregivers and community leaders understand the importance of immunization.
“As the governor's wife, I promise my full support for this noble initiative. I call parents, guardians, caregivers, community and religious leaders, and all other interested parties in the state of Anambra to join the hands.
The event also has assistance, representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, Social Mobilization Officers, LGA Health Supervisors, the traditional ruler of the Aguleri community, Igwe Michael Idigo, his counterpart of Ifitedunu, Igwe Emeka Ilouro, State Health Commissioner, Dr. Afam Obidike, among others.
